Couture Unicorn owner Rachel Lucas

Couture Unicorn is owned and operated by founder Rachel Lucas out of Roanoke, Virginia. Rachel works as a television news anchor for WSLS 10, the NBC affiliate for Southwest Virginia with a decade of experience in television journalism. Constantly on the go, working long hours yet needing to look and feel her best, Rachel founded Couture Unicorn in 2018 as a way to provide high quality, trendy fashion at affordable pricing that helps women find their unique voice in clothing and accessories. Couture Unicorn caters to the woman on the go by bringing the shopping experience to customers through it’s mobile boutique, the pink unicorn bus. Couture Unicorn Mobile Boutique is the first of it’s kind in the Roanoke Valley.

Rachel grew up in Giles County, Virginia at the foot of Mountain Lake in Newport. Proud of her country accent and Appalachian heritage, Couture Unicorn is a marriage between her professional life as a television personality and her personal style and love of all things beautifully unique and whimsical. Rachel values staying true to ones self, even when the world demands uniformity. That is why she selects the majority of merchandise in small quantities from primarily USA made small business owners who specialize in creating wearable works of art that speak to the soul. Rachel’s goal is to bring joy to the clothing we wear and help other women find fashion that makes them smile.
